From November 14th, every other Thursday evening, we will invite the beautiful jazz vocalist Ikumi Koyama from Japan to perform alongside Canadian guitarist Andy Ferris.
Ikumi Koyama
✦ A Japanese jazz singer and pianist, trained under the great bebop master Barry Harris. Known for her vocal jazz techniques and self-accompanied performances, she emphasizes the physical experience of rhythm. She is also skilled at blending classical, pop, and jazz singing styles to create a unique personal resonance.
Andy Ferris
✦ A guitarist from Vancouver, Canada, with 25 years of performance experience. He has performed alongside Kenny Werner, Dee Daniels, and Kurt Elling. Trained by prominent Canadian jazz musicians Brad Turner and Bill Coon in performance and composition, he is currently active in Taipei’s jazz music scene.
Whether it’s familiar melodies or improvisation, they will lead you into an enchanting musical world. Here, food and music intertwine, ensuring an unforgettable night!
